Sunmax Dental Bone Graft Granules is a mixture of porcine type 1 Atelocollagen and synthetic ceramic of hydroxyapatite / β-tricalcium phosphate (HAp / β-TCP). The ceramic portion of Sunmax Dental Bone Graft possesses a microporous and macroporous biphasic nature and presents a multidirectional interconnected porosity structure, similar to that of human cancellous bone. The highly purified collagen component is derived from porcine dermis and chemically cross-linked with glutaraldehyde.  Sterilization of this product is carried out by γ- irradiation.
